The club has several very active facebook pages that cater for some of the different interests within the club.  The PHCC main facebook page includes some information about impromptu paddles as well as comments and chats about projects in which members are involved .

The PHCC Photo Competition is a members page that requires a simple request to join.  Images from paddles or paddlers in the different sections of the sport are posted and judged by the ‘likes’ that each image receives.

At the end of each month a prize is awarded - some of these have been from Bournemouth Canoes, South Coast Canoes & Harbour Challenge. Currently winners receive a choice of distinctive mugs, caps, shirts, bags, etc.

The Racing K1 & C1 group at Wimborne Riverside have a facebook page (closed group) that highlights achievements in competitions and leagues as well as the regular  time trials sessions.

Members frequently have kayaks, canoes and other kit  they need to sell  - often only because they have changed their boats for something

new.  This is often the perfect opportunity for new members, or those looking to change their own equipment, to pick up a bargain  - so it’s well worth checking out the clubs own facebook sale/buy pages as well as the others we recommend on our facebook suggestions page.

Slalom News & Results

The Slalom Results & News group is developing and now has its own feed direct to the website - so if you want to know what is going on and also have easy access to the ‘Slalom Calendar’ and Divison Rankings updates - then check out the website page.

Kayak Polo

Kayak Polo has been increasing in popularity with the 2nd Friday session now including a regular ‘polo’ session - that may sometimes  include a visiting polo team. Get Involved !
