Wild Water Racing

Whilst Marathon and Sprint take priority, our third discipline is great fun. Take one wobbly boat, find some white water and head downstream as fast as you can.

Like marathon and sprint boats, the fastest WWR boats are made of kevlar carbon or of glass fibre,

but Wavehoppers, the boats often used are made of very sturdy plastic and can take a lot of battering.   The Club has a Wavehopper if anyone wants to try it.      

WWR events take place all over the country and on all sorts of water.   Many of these are in the North, but events can be found closer to home as well.
